Have you shared Maus music with anyone and what was their reaction?

While I want to shout about John Maus from the rooftops, I also don't want to share with those who wouldn't appreciate. So I keep it to myself

A couple of times i have judged someone's character wrongly and went for it. I got a 'too intense for me' or 'so.. much.. reverb' kind of reply.
Left be both annoyed, yet assured of its special place.
PS: Neither less to say that i have made it solo to some Maus shows. And proud of it.

YES! I've got a few people into John over the years. I start with the newer stuff (and maybe "Maniac" or "Rights For Gays") and let them find the grandma peed her pants stuff on their own. Ariel seems to be the harder sell for most, actually.
You have to accept the fact that some people just.. won't... like... it.

I've tried with friends but they don't get it. I've shown my brothers and they definitely love him. In fact, my brothers and I went to see him in 2011. It was a memorable experience. Here's to seeing him again with my bros!!!
