Thanks, yeah I don't know why I didn't get it, maybe cause I'm not the most active on the forum.
Anyways, these demos are sooo good... this is a whole other JM album! Thank you for sharing !
molly, the river, night of the world, and don't eat human beings, and de torrente.. are my favorites so far,,, loving the guitar treatment

I uploaded Demo 2011 and the JM mixtape after one another in my mp3 player. I thought for a long time "The Study" was the first song on the mixtape. I was like: "Wow this singer sounds like John a lot!"

Also I heard it as "the stutter of the soul"

ALSO, is the vaguely African wailing in "I don't eat human beings" a sample or John? Sounds like Lion King soundtrack or something, which is awesome.

"I don't eat human beings" is my favourite song that didn't make the album.

I thought the song sounded similar to something on the Lion King as well... perhaps something on Medicine Man. My brother listened to the song and thought it sounded like one of those early 90's previews from Universal videos, showing off their array of movies.

I think I'm going to listen to the demo tracks right now! :nod:
