three listens at work and home today. here are some general thoughts.

Screen Memories is a better album and contains more upper tier bangers.
Addendum is a strong listen from start to finish.
As a compilation it flows better than ACORAPUM did too.
It's maybe the weakest outing in terms of lyrics and singing?
I love his ongoing desire to reveal the inner musical workings in Ariel's songs
only song I'm not on board with is Running Man
I might have considered swapping out Decide Decide for Second Death if I was compiling SM anew
Presume Mind the Droves is based on some arcane piece of historical music, it's great though
Outer Space could have been a single
Figured It Out and Dumpster Baby are great

It got a shipping label on the 21st, but it still hasn't actually shipped according to the UPS tracking. No idea if it's still with Domino or UPS, which is frustrating as hell considering the delay. I've got tracking updates the same day a shipping label was made with some other packages, but I've heard nothing on this for almost 3 days. You'd think they'd want to get it out to us as fast as possible, but I'm not 100% confident they did everything they could to make that happen...

Addendum is absolutely fucking amazing. Mind the Droves and Second Death are the best on the album, just close behind is Outer Space!

Arrived today. The blue booklet on top contains pictures and lyrics for (i think) all the songs, plus an essay, and the small white booklet below it has complete musical scores for several selected songs. Plus John’s autograph on the front. There’s also a full size poster of John (not in picture below) in a dark shadowy onstage photo still, looking as intense as you’d expect. The actual records look Lovely too. Impressive box.
