Unfortunately the dispatch of your John Maus box-set has been delayed. This has been due to severe weather affecting and closing down the distribution hub from where these were shipping from.

I'm now debating whether or not to open it...
Half of me says that I should take it out and enjoy it. The other half of me is saying that this is COLLECTORS STUFF!!

I understand the urge to hold on to a sealed collectors item and watch the value rise ... but the joy I got in opening mine, hearing Addendum - which is GREAT ! - and the years to come of spinning these records beholding the wonder of Maus - and this box set which really positions his work in such a beautiful way ... the value in his work will be felt forever and there's no $$ that can ever match that !

I want to hear addendum so bad. I know a leak will surface really soon because of the download card but I'm frustrated with myself for not pulling the trigger on the boxset
john is one of my fave artists but the only lp I own is and will continue to be screen memories. the discogs prices on the older pressings have been ridiculous for years and not releasing any of the reissues individually won't help
