The girl from bennington

i heard a story told to me by my friend who goes to bennington college. He met alex bleeker (of real estate) who used to attend the school back in 2005 or so. He told my friend the story of how the whole thing happened with john and this girl that alex knew. Apparently ariel pink and his band which comprised of jm at the time, went up to play bennington college and they were apparently really bad, later that night jm went off with this girl. The next day she told alex that "she had sex with one of the guys in the band, named john. but he told me loved me, and i didn't know what to say so i told him i dont". and thats what the song is about.

yeah could b either. I found it interesting that there was a story to tell about it. Maybe a tad personal, but it's more for the stories sake. Plus i find it funny that AP and alex bleecker were involved somehow.

The Bennington back story is familiar to anyone who read the Adhoc letter a few summers ago. Although the university might be borrowed to 'protect the innocent,' she was basically a New England girl with Irish heritage (not unlike myself, although I am sure she is far clever-er and more beautiful!).
